Marwood Construction was created 2002
What is your primary product or service?
Marwood Construction is a high end general contractor which offers one of a kind custom luxury homes and design build restoration solutions for our distinctive clients in the Houston, metro housing market. We provide our clients with complementary home assessment and budgetary estimates. We provide both self performing work and use subcontractors, warranted by the project requirements.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
During the summer while attending Michigan State University our principle maintained jobs in the construction industry as a home framer and a plasterer. Ten days after graduating from college he moved to Houston Texas to enter the home building industry. After working for such housing giants as Ryland Homes & Arthur Ruttenberg, he began building luxury homes for various builders. "It is a very rewarding feeling to witness a client's pride and satisfaction of the ownership of an exclusive product like a home. It is a feeling like no other in the construction industry."
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Marwood Construction's goal is to provide our distinctive clients with a rewarding construction experience that results in a superior quality and uniquely crafted home product. We aspire to achieve this meaningful purpose through providing exceptional stewardship of our clients trust and by conducting our business with integrity as a trusted adviser. Our commitment to excellence of a premium home product and to our clients exceptional service experience remains our highest priority.

The company is owned and operated by Patrick Martin who has built more than 1,000 in 35 years including a dozen high end one of a kind estates. He is a Licensed Certified General Contractor and has National Association of Home Builders accreditations including Gradate Master Builder GMB & Certified Aging in Place Specialist CAPS

Commonly Monday - Friday 8:00 - 5:00
