Beautiful accessories for any wardrobe!
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I have always had a desire to enhance a basic wardrobe into one that is "eye catching". I have obtained my Associates Degree in Computer Networking and Systems Administration, Bachelors Degree in Business Management, and my Masters Degree in Education. Through all of my education, training in television, and professional work in the music industry, I understand the importance of accessories with any outfit! I have been in the presence and opened for artist such as Ginuwine, Urban Mystic, Mozan the Comedian (BET), and has graced television screens on Fox26. I also hosted an award ceremony to raise money for HIV/AIDS Awareness and presented an community service award to Former Houston Council Woman Ada Edwards. I understand the importance of a professional appearance as well as glamour. My gift of glam will stand out above the rest at any event!
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
The difference in All About Eve Accessories is that I beleive that women are the key to the community, workforce and families. Each year I strive to raise money to donate to a special charity benefitting women. The name "All About Eve" was strategically picked to give all women a sense of pride and re-associate the name "EVE" in a positive light. "I often would hear men say -If Eve wouldn't have bitten that apple, the world would have been a better place. I found that to be ridiculous! I was tired of "EVE" the one name that represents women being used as the blame for everything that goes wrong. Also, one of my favorite movies starring Betty Davis has the same title and the name just works!"
