Abletek is a privately held Texas corporation in business for 14+ years.
What is your primary product or service?
Abletek is a provider of Technology solutions including IT, Telecom/Communications, converged technologies, managed & monitored services, remote support, onsite support, voice & data cabling, web development, hosting services, network support, help desk and disaster recovery.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Bill Parker first became involved in IT in the late 70's when mainframe computers were the norm. He worked with minicomputers using various programming languages such as COBOL, Basic & APL. Bill learned to program and developed costing, utilization and financial analysis models for the trucking industry. After 15 years in transportation & environmental management, Bill left the industry in 1993 to pursue a career in IT as a self employed network & computer engineer. He started Abletek as a partnership with Stewart Terry, a communications engineer, in 1996. Shortly after 911, Stewart retired and Bill purchased his shares and since 2002 has owned 100% of the company.

CTAP makes available the latest and most efficient technology to serve your business needs including unlimited remote and onsite support, training, IT infrastructure monitoring, total communication and IT solution packages with periodic refresh of hardware and software all at a fixed monthly price that can be fixed for up to five years.

Abletek is a privately held S-Corporation with Bill Parker owning 100% of the corporation. Bill is President of the company with responsibility for sales & marketing, and executive management of the company.
Casey Morton is Manger of Remote Operations and handles the daily operations of the technical and service staff.
Molly Shivers is our Controller and Office Manager.

Abletek's office hours are Monday thru Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. We provide 24/7 services to out clients, both onsite and remote.
