How long have you been in business?
I started LeftLane Designs in 1988, fresh out of high school. Over the past 20 years, I've built some wonderful, long-term relationships with my clients in and around the Greater Houston area, and have had the opportunity to work on some exciting projects.
What is your primary product or service?
LeftLane Designs creates unique logos, cutting-edge websites, marketing materials, and print designs designed to help our clients pass their competition. Because our clients are small to mid-sized businesses, we often say that we're the next best thing to having your own in-house graphic design department.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
For as long as I can remember, I've enjoyed drawing and design. My earliest jobs were simple t-shirt designs, hand-drawn logos, and the like. I was one of the earliest adopters of desktop publishing, and have been on the cutting edge of design for more than 20 years.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
What sets LeftLane Designs apart from "flaky" designers and unreliable "creative-types" is my commitment to being reliable, consistent, and strategic in all of my relationships. I take special care to assess my clients' demographics, clientele, and actual needs before attempting to offer a solution or product. I'm dedicated to serving my clients far beyond the scope of any individual design project.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
I'm fortunate to work from my home office in Northwest Houston, TX. While I frequently sub-contract work for larger projects, and have worked with some wonderful teams over the years, my clients have come to expect a particular level of excellence that is simply not possible from a "junior designer." When you hire LeftLane Designs, you can rest assured that you'll benefit from my 20 years of experience on every design project.
What type of payments do you accept?
Our clients frequently comment on how convenient our online estimating and billing system is to use. We accept checks and all major credit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and AMEX.
Which areas do you service?
While most of my clients live in and around the Greater Houston area, my online design process enables me to work with clients anywhere in the country.
What are your hours of operation?
I'm typically in the office between 9am and 5pm CST, Monday thru Friday. I look forward to speaking with you about how LeftLane Designs can help you to pass your competition!
