We offer a year-round schedule of classes to meet your every need, from basic open water certification to advanced specialty training to leadership courses. Our staff of friendly, experienced instructors have certified thousands of divers over the past 20+ years. We take great pride in our return business: we are now training the children of divers that we certified when they were children themselves!

We have been doing business here in Houston since 1986.
What is your primary product or service?
Scuba Diving instruction, sales, service and travel.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I have been involved in scuba diving since I was 12 years old and have always had a love for scuba diving and travel.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Customer service is our number one priority! Everyone affiliated with Divetech has had extensive training and we are all willing to educate the customer and make sure he/she is comfortable in every aspect of diving from travel to equipment. We are a specialty store and we strive to make sure all of our customers feel special!
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have one location and plan to keep it that way. I have personally seen the dissatisfied customers who have had bad experiences with other stores. We strive to keep the same staff and make sure that everyone coming through our doors is treated like a friend!

We are located on I-10 West (Katy Freeway) between Campbell and Bingle/Voss on the south side of the freeway. Our physical address is 8713 Katy Freeway, Houston, TX 77024. Just look for the large Diver Down flag!
What type of payments do you accept?
We accept almost all types of payment: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Checks and Cash.
Which areas do you service?
We don't just service one area; we have customers from all over the world, and we intend to provide service to anyone who is interested in scuba diving.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
Edward Luedtke has been running the operation for several years. Starting out in sales and repairs, he now oversees all the operations for Divetech, Inc.
What are your hours of operation?
Our hours of operation are Monday-Friday 10 AM - 6 PM and Saturday 10 AM - 4 PM. We would also suggest that if you are running late, please call and we would be more than happy to wait for our customers whenever possible.
