Houston Hospice is different because we are a nonprofit organization. Our only focus is compassionate care for patients and their families. Respectful physical, social and spiritual support is available for six months or more as needed.
We make every effort to help our patients stay wherever they call home - be it an apartment, a house, an assisted living community, or a skilled nursing home.
If a patient's symptoms necessitate inpatient care, services can be provided in our beautiful and home-like Margaret Cullen Marshall Hospice Care Center located in the Texas Medical Center.

Expert, compassionate care for patients and their loved ones. Care teams help manage pain and symptoms, monitor the patient's condition, maintain hygiene, anticipate needs, assist with medical/insurance forms, listen with compassion, and give caregivers rest. This support helps caregivers have more energy and quality time with their loved one.

Houston Hospice is a community supported nonprofit organization that grew from a grass roots organization, back when the concept of hospice was new in the United States, to the leader for hospice care for Southeast Texas.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Houston Hospice is nonprofit and community supported. No corners are cut for the sake of profit. Our teams of doctors, nurses, hospice aides, chaplains, counselors, and trained volunteers are the very best. Our only goal is providing comfort and care for patients and families throughout our 10-county coverage area irrespective of their ethnicity, beliefs or ability to pay.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have one state-of-the art inpatient care facility in the Texas Medical Center. We have three strategically located offices in the Texas Medical Center, in West Houston and in El Campo, Texas. Teams work from these offices to provide services throughout: Austin, Brazoria, Colorado, Fort Bend, Harris County, Jackson, Matagorda, Montgomery, Waller, and Wharton Counties.
