What is your primary product or service?
Manufacturer of container denesting, heat sealing, overcapping, and lid plugging equipment.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
This company evolved from a machine shop located on the east side of Houston. In the late sixties a local coffee company came to the shop looking for solution to apply a new style plastic lid to the top of a metal coffee can.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We do not apply screw on type caps! Too many people out there do that. We apply any wipe-on, snap-on, press-on, plunge-one style overcaps and lids. We are the largest in the the industry. Our closest US competitor represents less than 3% of the market.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Del currently operates out of two facilities in Cypress, TX.
